Israel – Hamas war: Palestine president calls

Israel-Hamas Conflict: Palestinian President Intervenes

Amidst the escalating conflict between Israel and Hamas, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has issued a plea for international intervention. President Abbas condemned Israel’s airstrikes on Gaza, which have killed over 200 Palestinians, mostly civilians, including women and children. He accused Israel of committing “war crimes” and violating international law.

President Abbas urged the United Nations and the international community to take immediate action to stop the violence and protect innocent lives. He called for a ceasefire, an independent investigation into the airstrikes, and humanitarian assistance to the civilian population of Gaza.

President Abbas’s pleas come amidst widespread international concern over the disproportionate impact of the conflict on Palestinian civilians. The United Nations has expressed alarm over the rising death toll and urged both sides to de-escalate the violence. Several countries, including the United States, have condemned the airstrikes and called for a ceasefire.
